What does the medication actually cost?
The $99 covers your private consultation with Dr. Bartemus. If he prescribes treatment, the medication itself is billed separately. Most patients pay between $250–$450/month depending on the medication and dosage prescribed. [VERIFY: replace with your actual program pricing]

What happens if I'm not a candidate for treatment?
If Dr. Bartemus determines that GLP-1 therapy isn't clinically right for you, he'll discuss alternative approaches and next steps. You'll still get the value of a one-on-one consultation with a 35-year board-certified physician — and your $99 fee is non-refundable, but it's also never wasted. You'll leave with real medical guidance.

Am I a candidate for GLP-1 medications?
Most patients qualify with a BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight-related health condition (high blood pressure, prediabetes, sleep apnea, etc.), or a BMI of 30 or higher on its own.
Dr. Bartemus reviews your full medical picture during the consultation — including any conditions or medications that might affect treatment — to determine the safest and most effective path for you.
Is this safe?
Every patient is evaluated one-on-one by Dr. Bartemus, a board-certified family physician with 25 years specializing in weight management. Medications are only prescribed when clinically appropriate, and you receive ongoing physician support throughout your treatment — not a one-time prescription and goodbye.
Common side effects (nausea, fatigue, digestive changes) usually improve within the first few weeks. Dr. Bartemus and his team are available to adjust your protocol if needed.
How quickly will I see results?
Most patients begin to notice changes — reduced appetite, less food noise, gradual weight loss — within the first 4 to 8 weeks. Typical results in clinical settings are 10–20% body weight loss over 6–12 months when paired with lifestyle support.
Your results will depend on your starting health, dosage, and how consistently you follow the program. Dr. Bartemus tracks your progress and adjusts as needed.
Which states does Dr. Bartemus serve?

How does the video visit work? Do I need to download anything?
No downloads, no apps. After you book, you'll receive a secure link by email. Click it at your appointment time, and you're connected to Dr. Bartemus directly through your browser — works on any laptop, phone, or tablet.
The platform is HIPAA-compliant, and your consultation is completely private.
Is my medical information kept private?
Yes. All consultations and medical records are protected under HIPAA, the federal patient privacy law. Your information is stored securely, never sold, and never shared with anyone outside your care team without your explicit consent.
What if I have side effects after starting medication?
You're not on your own. Dr. Bartemus's office is available for follow-up — you can call or message his Clermont practice if you have concerns, side effects, or questions about dosing. Most side effects (nausea, mild GI symptoms) ease over the first few weeks; if they don't, your dose can be adjusted.
